Recommended financial independence books for retirees

As a new retiree, I’ve realized how important it is to find the right resources for managing my finances. With so many books on financial independence out there, it can be tough to choose the best ones. Some books offer quick fixes, while others explore deeper strategies for investing and budgeting. I’d love to hear what’s worked for others in our community.

I’ve seen a few popular titles that come highly recommended, but I want to make sure they truly address the unique needs of retirees. It’s essential for me to enjoy my free time while also securing my financial future.

What financial independence books have you found most helpful during your retirement? Are there any that specifically tackle the challenges we face after leaving the workforce?

I think a lot of the popular books miss the mark for retirees. “The Simple Path to Wealth” by JL Collins is solid, but it’s not just about investing; it really breaks down the mindset you need in retirement. Also, “You Only Retire Once” has some practical advice that’s relevant for tackling retirement challenges.
