Staying active in retirement can be a bit tricky, especially when you’re looking for activities that are enjoyable yet suitable for light fitness. Living in Phoenix, I’ve seen a lot of options out there, but not everything seems to match my energy levels and interests. Between community classes and outdoor events, the variety can be a bit overwhelming.
I’ve been thinking about trying out walking groups and light yoga classes, but I’m not quite sure which direction to go. Have any of you discovered particular activities that keep you engaged and active? What has helped you maintain a fulfilling routine?
Are there any community programs or resources you would recommend for someone looking to explore new fitness opportunities in retirement?
