What routines keep you active in retirement?

Staying active in retirement feels like it should be simple, yet it can often be a challenge. With a plethora of options available, from yoga classes to solo outings, figuring out what truly works for you can be tricky. Some retirees enjoy yoga for its flexibility benefits, while others find joy in daily walks or even gardening.

I’ve found that mixing up my routine really helps keep things fresh. I do a bit of swimming a few times a week, plus I try to join a couple of local walking groups for socializing. It’s great to meet new people and stay active at the same time!

I’ve found that mixing things up helps a lot! Like, I’ll alternate between hiking on weekends and doing tai chi in the mornings. Keeps things interesting and definitely helps with balance, plus the fresh air is a bonus!
